Roth Solargeo® energy system - modular design
The Roth Solargeo® Ex is a complete system, of which the several units such as heat pump, solar system, heat storage tanks and ground register are compatible. If it isn't possible to realise the complete system in the first step, it can be started for example with the Solargeo® Ex heat pump and the ground register and add the Solargeo® Ex solar system later. It is also possible to start with the Solargeo® Ex solar system. The modular design allows to get the pleasure of the complete energy efficient Solargeo® Ex system step by step. The following table helps to find orientation with which module it is possible to start and which module can be added later. Due the different starting possibilities the overview shows three variants for the heat pump power class 6 kW as an example.
For the starter kit all modules marked with “start” in the same column are required. This also applies for the supplementary package which needs all modules marked in the same column with “supplement”.

The variant 1 starts with the Solargeo® Ex heat pump and the Solargeo® Ex register module. Therefore the heat pump can operate via its connection with the ground register (the heat pump domestic water storage is needed as equipment). To complete the Solargeo® Ex energy system the Solargeo® Ex solar system and the Solargeo® Ex hydraulic module will be needed later.
The variant 2 starts with the Solargeo® Ex heat pump, the solar combination storage tank and the Solargeo® Ex register module. To complete the Solargeo® Ex energy system the Solargeo® Ex solar system and the Solargeo® Ex hydraulic module will be needed later.
The variant 3 starts with the Solargeo® Ex solar system and the solar combination storage tank. Therefore the solar system can operate. To complete the Solargeo® Ex system the Solargeo® Ex heat pump, the Solargeo® Ex register module and the Solargeo® Ex hydraulic module will be needed later.
